The High Council of Justice dismissed Lyudmyla Sokyrko from her position as a judge of the Bilozerka District Court in Kherson Oblast.

The High Council of Justice adopted the corresponding decision on July 9, 2026, while reviewing materials regarding the dismissal of judges under general circumstances.

Lyudmyla Sokyrko was dismissed after she submitted a letter of resignation.

The judge held her position at the Bilozerka District Court in Kherson Oblast.

After the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion and the occupation of the right bank of the Kherson region, the judge was seconded to the Rozhniativ District Court in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast to administer justice.

Intent analyzed Lyudmyla Sokyrko’s annual declaration for 2025.

The judge declared a 69.2 m² apartment in the Bilozerska community of the Kherson region, which she acquired in 1998, as well as a 33.3% share in the joint ownership of a 61.3 m² apartment in the city of Dolyna, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, where the co-owners are her mother, Daria Ivaneiko, her brother, Andriy Sokyrko, and one other person.

A 0.1-hectare plot of land in the same town of Dolyna belongs directly to the judge’s mother. Sokyrko has the use of a 2013 Volkswagen Polo Sedan-D passenger car, which belongs to another person (Mykola Ivaneiko), while the judge herself has only the right to drive it.

In 2025, Sokyrko received a salary of 1,375,341 hryvnias from the Territorial Office of the State Judicial Administration in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

Among her financial assets, the judge declared 258,221 hryvnias in an account at PrivatBank, as well as cash totaling 1.7 million hryvnias, 21,700 U.S. dollars, and 8,500 euros.

The judge did not declare any securities, corporate rights, financial obligations, or side jobs.

Previously, the judge from Kherson won a case in the Supreme Court against the Qualification Commission.
