Russian blogger Vladimir Romanov disappeared from the public eye after spreading information about 17 buses carrying residents of Oleshky toward territory controlled by Ukraine, as opposed to four buses heading toward Russia. Rumors of a possible arrest are circulating in Russian social media groups, though official sources have not yet confirmed this.

This was reported by Vgoru.

It is noted that Romanov stated in a post on his channel that more people left for Ukraine than for Russia during the evacuation of Oleshky residents.

“On TV, they’ll most likely show more of our buses, but their windows will be completely covered,” he noted in the post.

The publication notes that Romanov later edited the post.

It is also known that Russian propagandist Solovyov reacted to the blogger’s post. During a live broadcast, he accused Romanov of working for Ukraine and called for his imprisonment.

The latest post on Romanov’s channel appeared on October 31. It allegedly contains photos and videos from the Kramatorsk district. It is noted that the blogger previously published several posts a day.

At the same time, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Romanov is a Russian war correspondent. In his posts, he praised the actions of Russian troops. He also called on people to send, via his channel’s chatbot, the addresses of Ukrainian territorial recruitment centers and coordinates for strikes. The blogger raised funds for the Russian army and has received awards from Russian military units.
