The press service noted that despite the constant threats and shelling from Russia, the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority will continue to modernize the port infrastructure. This allows to maintain the stable operation of maritime logistics, ensure the export of Ukrainian products and maintain Ukraine's key role in world trade.

The project covers the First and Container Terminals with six deep-water berths and full infrastructure. The territory and property will remain state-owned, and the investor will invest capital, modernize the facilities and manage them under a long-term contract. The expected amount of revenues to the budgets of various levels over 40 years exceeds USD 1.1 billion.
