45 million planned for reconstruction of canteens of two Mykolaiv gymnasiums

Mykolaiv is planning to renovate the canteens for schoolchildren in two gymnasiums in the city. It is planned to spend almost 45 million hryvnias for this purpose.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Prozorro e-procurement system.

The work was ordered by the Capital Construction Department of Mykolaiv City Council.

Thus, it is planned to spend UAH 22 million 530 thousand 790 on the overhaul of the canteen of Mykolaiv gymnasium No. 46.

And UAH 22 million 107 thousand 450 are going to be spent on repairing the canteen of Mykolaiv gymnasium No. 52.

The minimum price reduction step is one percent of the expected purchase price. The auction will start on September 26.

The amount of the bid security in the first case is UAH 112,653, and in the second case - UAH 110,537.

The reconstruction works are to be completed by January 31, 2025. Payments for the work performed are made on the basis of the construction acceptance certificates signed by the parties.

In addition to the standard construction works, the contractor shall install all communications, kitchen equipment, water purification system, ventilation, fire alarm system, automatic fire extinguishing system, public address system, and lightning protection. The school will also be landscaped.

Recently, the Mykolaiv Department of Education signed an agreement to provide catering services for schools and kindergartens in the city worth over UAH 60 million. The contract was awarded to a municipal production enterprise that will provide meals to 61 educational institutions, including kindergartens.

In addition, a major overhaul of the canteen at Vradiyivka Lyceum No. 2 is planned in Mykolaiv Oblast. More than UAH five million has been allocated for these works from the local budget and a subvention from the state budget. Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work can be changed depending on actual funding, and the warranty for finishing work will be three years.
