In 2025, Odesa graduates received 74 of the highest scores in the National Multisubject Test (NMT). The best result was achieved by an Odesa resident who scored 200 points in three subjects.

According to the Odesa City Council, the graduates scored 200 points each in Ukrainian language, mathematics, history of Ukraine, English and Spanish, and biology.

Kamila Musayelyan, a graduate of the Odesa Leader Lyceum, showed the highest individual result, scoring 200 points in three subjects at once.

Six other participants became two-time NMT-2025 idealists: Sofia Bilous, Viacheslav Klebanov, Maksym Kulina, Mykyta Loguteyev, Karolina Musayelyan, and Daria Poshyvay. They represent lyceums No. 5, 72, 82, 118, Leader and European.

The largest number of students who received 200 points on the NMT studied at Odesa lyceums "Primorskyi", "Lider" and lyceums No. 3, 9, 81, 117.

"The children who did not sleep, studied in shelters, live and grow in the conditions of our present, do not give up, strive, press on, and move forward in spite of reality!" said Olena Buynevych, Director of the city Department of Education and Science.

It should be added that 18,896 participants registered for the main NMT session in Odesa region. The exams were held in 61 temporary examination centers. Additional testing sessions will be held from July 14 to 25.

The National Multisubject Test (NMT) was first introduced in Ukraine in 2022 as a temporary replacement for the External Independent Testing (EIT) due to the full-scale war. It was developed to simplify the admission process in a secure environment - the NMT is taken online at special centers, lasts about 2 hours and covers three main subjects (in 2022-2024, it was Ukrainian language, mathematics and history of Ukraine).

By the way, Intent.Insight talked to the rector of the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushynsky, Professor Andriy Krasnohon, about NMT in a regular broadcast.
