20 million allocated to restore house destroyed by shelling in Mykolaiv

A tender has been announced in Mykolaiv for the overhaul of a residential building damaged during the war. The work is to be completed by the end of 2025, and proposals are accepted until mid-June.

This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro procurement system.

The Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council has announced an open tender for the overhaul of a residential building on Yevhenia Loginova Street. The works are part of measures to restore the housing stock damaged as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

The expected cost of the repair is over UAH 20 million. The selected contractor should complete the work by December 15, 2025.

Bids will be accepted until June 14, 2025 inclusive. The bidding is scheduled for June 16. The minimum price reduction step for bidders is 1% of the expected purchase amount, i.e. UAH 204,351.

The client of the works is the Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council.

The works are to be carried out in accordance with the classifier - "Other final construction works". Payment for the repairs is due upon completion of the works and acceptance of the certificates within 20 banking days. The bid security is UAH 102 thousand, and no contract performance security is provided.

Earlier, Mykolaiv planned to restore an apartment building on Yantarna Street, which also suffered significant damage due to Russian shelling. The project is aimed at restoring the building for safe further operation and returning residents to their homes.

In addition, the city has initiated a project to restore two neighborhoods - Lisky-1 and Lisky-2. Denmark has provided almost UAH 100 million for this purpose. The reconstruction is aimed at creating a comfortable and safe living environment for residents, which will also contribute to the sustainable development of the city.
