The court returned to state ownership almost 97 hectares of land on the territory of the Kamianska Sich National Nature Park, which had previously been transferred to communal ownership as agricultural land.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.
The Odesa Commercial Court upheld the prosecutor's claim to return the lands of the nature reserve fund in Beryslav district, Kherson region, to the state.
The land in question is a 96.6-hectare plot. The court terminated the right of municipal ownership of the land, canceled its registration in the State Land Cadastre and ordered the land to be returned to the state.
Prosecutors found that in 2020, the Main Department of the State Geocadastre in Kherson Oblast transferred the land to the Milivska village council as agricultural land.
At the same time, the site is part of the national park and belongs to the lands of the nature reserve fund and is under state protection.
"Kamianska Sich is a national nature park of Ukraine with an area of over 12.2 thousand hectares located on the right bank of the Dnipro River in Beryslav district of Kherson region. Established in 2019, it covers unique steppe slopes, river terraces and beams.
The prosecutor's office emphasized that the park was created to preserve the unique steppe territories and historical heritage of Kherson region. It includes land with a special environmental status, the use of which is regulated by law.
The agency also reported that since the beginning of 2026, more than 106 hectares of land in the Kamianska Sich National Park have already been returned to the state following the prosecutor's office's claims.
In addition, the prosecutor's office defended 550 hectares of unique lands ofthe Kamianska Sich National Nature Park. The court overturned the illegal decisions of the State Geocadastre, so the territory remained in state ownership.
