Volunteer doctors helped more than 700 residents of Kherson region

A medical mission of volunteer doctors continues in the Kherson region.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

The report says that over the past week, the medical team of the Fortitude UA charitable foundation visited a number of settlements in the Beryslav region, including Kochubeivka, Svobodne, Orlove, Novobratske, Ivanivka, Mykolayivka, and Kniazivka. It is noted that in total, the specialists examined more than 600 local residents, providing the necessary consultations and prescribing treatment. Patients could use the services of a family doctor, neurologist, ophthalmologist and cardiologist free of charge. If necessary, residents were given free medicines and glasses.

The medical teams are visiting Kherson region as part of the Mobile Clinics of Kherson project, implemented by Fortitude UA in cooperation with the International Rescue Committee and with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.

Also last week, the mobile medical team of the Palianytsia Foundation PAL-UA NGO made a number of visits to the settlements of Kherson Oblast. During the visits, residents of Dariivka, Fedorivka, Lymanets and Chornobaivka could consult a neurologist, surgeon, gynecologist and psychologist free of charge. In total, about a hundred patients received qualified medical care.

Earlier it was reported that at the end of August, a mobile team of doctors from the Fortitude UA charitable foundation visited seven settlements in Beryslav district. Residents of Novopavlivka, Pervomayske, Bila Krynytsia, Mala Shestirna, Novohryhorivka, Zahradivka and Pryhirya could consult and be examined by a family doctor, neurologist, ophthalmologist, endocrinologist and cardiologist free of charge. In addition, patients were given the necessary medicines and glasses as prescribed by doctors.

It was also mentioned that a mobile X-ray room continues to operate in the Kherson region.
