Russians wound child again in Kherson region

Yesterday, on August 16, the Russian military shelled Kherson region once again. As a result of Russian aggression, 6 people were injured, including 1 child.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.

According to them, the Russian military hit a critical infrastructure facility, educational institutions; residential areas of the region's settlements, including a high-rise building and 22 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, private cars and a rescue vehicle.

At about 5:40 , the occupation forces opened fire on Tomina Balka. A 71-year-old man who was inside the building was hit. He received an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his back and shoulder.

Nearly half a dozen houses of local residents were damaged by enemy shelling. Roofs, windows, doors and walls were smashed. An elderly man was also wounded in his own home.

A short time later, another wounded woman, an 80-year-old local resident, was admitted to the hospital with blast trauma and a concussion.

In Stanislav, the enemy hit anambulance with a drone near it, damaging the car's window. Fortunately, the driver was not injured.

While extinguishing a fire in Antonivka , the occupiers attacked rescuers. The fire truck was damaged, but the firefighters were not injured.

In the evening, Russian troops shelled the Dniprovsky district of Kherson. Two people were injured as a result of an enemy attack on a residential building. An ambulance team brought a 57-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman to the hospital. They received explosive injuries and contusions.

A 58-year-old resident of Beryslav was injured when explosives were dropped from a drone. He was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to his torso, arms and legs. The victim was also diagnosed with explosive and craniocerebral injuries and contusion.

A child who suffered from Russian shelling of Kherson a few days ago was also hospitalized. The 10-year-old boy was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a concussion.
