Occupants terrorize Kherson residents with drones

The occupiers continue to attack Kherson residents using UAVs. Also, on September 8, a 72-year-old man was injured in Sadove in the Kherson territorial community as a result of an explosion on an unknown object.

This was reported by Roman Mrochko, the head of the Kherson MVA.

According to the official, the victim was taken to hospital in serious condition. He has explosive and closed head injuries, contusion, and shrapnel wounds.

Also, on September 8, after 11.00 a.m., in the Dniprovsky district of Kherson, the occupiers attacked a civilian with a drone. A 47-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and a chest wound. The victim went to the hospital himself. Doctors provided him with the necessary assistance. According to the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, it happened in Antonivka

Also, after 14:00, four wounded people turned to doctors for help. The occupiers attacked Kherson with drones again. A minibus with passengers was hit. They were injured as a result of an enemy drone attack in the Dniprovsky district of the city. All four of them - two women born in 1981 and 1979 and two men born in 1965 and 1966 - sustained mine-blast trauma. Two of them also had shrapnel wounds. The older man had a head injury.

Two of the wounded were hospitalized after 15:00. Thus, a 60-year-old man and a woman sustained explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds as a result of the enemy dropping explosives from a drone in the same Dniprovsky district of the city. According to the head of the Kherson MVA, they were outside at the time of the racist attack.

Also, according to the regional prosecutor's office, on September 7, 2024, at about 10:00 am, a 63-year-old local resident was injured as a result of shelling in the village of Ponyativka. On September 8 in the morning, the man died in hospital. At 23:15 on September 7, the Russian army also shelled the village of Komyshany with artillery. Two women and two men received injuries of varying degrees, three of them needed hospitalization.

In total, 11 civilians were injured in the right-bank part of Kherson region on September 8 as a result of Russian aggression. Eight of them were in the Kherson territorial community.
