SBU serves suspicion notices of collaboration with occupiers to three more residents of Kherson region, one of them is a village council deputy

According to the press service of the agency, a deputy of one of the village councils in the region was suspected of collaboration. While staying in the occupied village of Nyzhni Sirohozy, Henichesk district, the deputy voluntarily elected himself to the "position" of the so-called "head of the administration of the Nyzhni Sirohozy municipal district." In this "position", the suspect approved the budget of the pseudo-authority, disposed of municipal property, issued illegal legal acts and orders, and supervised their implementation by subordinate employees.

The second defendant became the so-called "deputy head of the Genichesk Military-Civilian Administration". The collaborator assisted the Nazis in every way possible to form a system of authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of the district. The pseudo-official took part in a meeting of the pseudo-Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services on preparations for the heating season, thus showing the occupiers' imaginary "care" for the local population.

It is noted that another supporter of the "Russian world" from the Kakhovka district of the region accepted the enemy's offer and "headed" the so-called "Dmitrievsky territorial administration" of the local occupation administration. To organize the work of the fake institution, he recruited like-minded employees. The offender "took care" of the functioning of local communal institutions and establishments under Russian law. He controlled the process of reissuing documents to local residents according to the model of the aggressor state. The enemy's accomplice also supported the occupants' illegal referendum and pseudo-elections.

The SBU investigators served all three of them a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They face up to 10 years in prison. They are currently in the non-government controlled area. The SBU is taking measures to bring the offenders to justice for crimes against Ukraine. The operation was conducted by the SBU officers in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
