Families of fallen heroes receive state awards in Mykolaiv region

On Friday, August 30, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim , presented posthumous state awards to relatives of the fallen defenders of Ukraine. The awards were granted in accordance with the decrees of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration.

The event was also attended by the Head of the Mykolaiv Oblast National Police, Police Colonel Serhii Makhno, and the Assistant Head of the Special Police Department "United Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine"Rage", PoliceLieutenant Colonel Viacheslav Vusinskyi.

In particular, according to the Presidential Decree, they were posthumously awarded for personal courage, devotion to the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for their impeccable service to the Ukrainian people:

1. Senior police sergeant Serhiy Holimbievskyi, a police officer of the "United Assault Brigade "Rage";

2. Senior Police Sergeant Serhiy Svitlyk, police officer of the "Luty" Joint Assault Brigade;

3. Senior Police Lieutenant Vladyslav Polyakov, deputy platoon commander of the 'Luty' Joint Assault Brigade;

4. Police Sergeant Viktor Semenyuk, a police officer of the "Joint Assault Brigade "Rage";

5. Senior police sergeant Viktor Kurchakovsky, a police officer of the 'Luty' Joint Assault Brigade;

6. Senior Police Lieutenant Eduard Kazmirchuk, platoon inspector of the "Luty" Joint Assault Brigade;

7. Police Corporal Vasyl Kulyabko, a police officer of the 'Luty' Joint Assault Brigade.

8. Police Senior Lieutenant Oleksandr Piskun, deputy platoon commander of the "Luty" Joint Assault Brigade.

On Independence Day, servicemen of the Navy Training Center also received awards "For the Defense of Mykolaiv". The mayor handed over gratitude and certificates of appreciation for the center's servicemen. They will be presented to the defenders at the upcoming ceremonial events.

The Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine has also recently honored the servicemen of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regiments. He also awarded those soldiers who are currently defending the South Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plant. The awards were presented to the soldiers of the 19th Mykolaiv and 34th Kherson Regiments, recognizing their courage, professionalism and contribution to the defense of the state.
