After the successful systematic attacks of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on facilities in the temporarily occupied Crimea, the demand for real estate on the peninsula has significantly decreased.

Eskender Bariiev, a member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and head of the Crimean Tatar Resource Center, told Freedom TV channel.

According to him, Russians, who used to buy housing en masse, no longer believe in the safety of life in Crimea.

"Temporary artificial support of demand for real estate by issuing certificates to Kherson residents ended in April 2024, and now demand continues to fall," Eskender Bariev noted.

However, he did not provide any figures showing how much demand has fallen.

It is known that after four o'clock in the morning on October 7, the oil depot in the temporarily occupied Feodosia was attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine drones. The Feodosia oil transshipment terminal is the largest in the occupied Crimea in terms of oil products transshipment. There are two such terminals on the peninsula, the second is located in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol. The oil depot is located on the eastern edge of Feodosia, not far from the village of Beregove. Its storage capacity is 250 thousand cubic meters. In March 2024, it was already attacked by drones, and the main fuel transfer pipeline was damaged. The same tank farm was attacked in December and November last year.

Earlier it was reported that on August 22, in the port of Kavkaz (Russia), the Ukrainian Defense Forces (AFU) allegedly hit the Russian railroad ferry Conro Trader with a Neptune missile at 16:30 local time. It was carrying 30 railroad tanks with fuel, each containing fifty tons. That's why the explosion was so powerful that it was clearly heard in Kerch. A large column of smoke and flames was also visible in Kerch. There were 12 fire brigades at the scene, and a fire train was sent to the port. It was not possible to extinguish the ferry, which was heavily burning, and it sank.
